At the Crossroads – Blues Bones II was scheduled to be released July 22, 2019 by publisher Leap Books LLC. Leap Books closed April 26, 2019. We were in the final stages of edits when this happened, and all rights of book one and book two reverted to me. I decided to self publish and contacted Kelly Hashway, the editor for Leap Books who acquired the original Blues Bones but left Leap Books not long after book one was released. Happy Birthday to PeterFrampton! @PeterFrampton. One of my guitar heroes. Some of my favorites are Baby I Love Your Way, Penny for Your Thoughts, Do You Feel like We Do, and Show Me the Way!

After seeing him on the Mike Douglas Show, I even modified an old cassette recorder to make a Talkbox using its microphone and part of a water hose! Maybe this explains Max’s love of electronics in my book Blues Bones.

Looking forward to At the Crossroads-Blues Bones II’s book birthday on July 22! Remembering how much I struggled to learn to play Penny for Your Thoughts inspired a major event in book two!

I Have News! Many have been asking about Blues Bones Book II. Well, It’s on its way! Leap Books is looking at a release date of July 22, 2019. At The Crossroads – Blues Bones Book II starts the day after book one ends. Rodney is going to his first practice session with a real band. Rodney knows how to play guitar, but can he learn to play a special song in time for their first gig – a girl’s fourteenth birthday party? In book one, a midnight visit to a graveyard with a dead guitar player’s finger bone may have cured Rodney’s stage fright. He never thought he would need another spell.
