Those who know me, know I have been working on articles to sub to Highlights for Children. One of the highlights of my trip was the evening Senior Editor, Debra Hess, came by for dinner. I had been in touch with her through emails, but it was great getting to meet, and talk with her.

ReplyDeleteIt was my first. I learned a lot, took tons of notes, got tons of handouts, and a copy of Peter's book "The Magazine Article - How to Think it, Plan it, write it". As I am reading it, I can still hear him talking when I read parts he spoke about. It's great. If you ever get a chance to go to one, do it. Especially if it is one at Highlights.
