Ayla Hashway is nine years old. She loves reading and writing. The
Secret Sister is her first book, although she’s been writing for years.
She believes if you keep trying, you can make your dreams come true.
I loved the interaction between Olivia and her brother Max
as she uncovers her mother’s family secret. The Secret Sister truly is a page turner,
and Nine year old Ayla has done a fantastic job with the characters. I can’t
wait to see what happens next if Ayla decides to write book two. I think Olivia
is already planning.
With her knowledge of story and the writing craft at age
nine, Ayla Hashway is one new author to keep an eye on.
